The focus of Women’s Ministry at Hillside is to create opportunities to connect socially; encourage women to develop and use their gifting to minister spiritually and reach out to others in the community.

An annual Women’s Retreat (September 20-22, 2013) is held in the Fraser Valley area. We have a strong core of women who make up Retreat Planning Team, who plan and work together to make this a success. Our annual retreats with a special speaker, workshops and generous free time are always an exciting time of getting to know one another, fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

In the spring and fall we often host a Saturday morning Teaching Seminar & Brunch. These are very popular and well attended, giving ladies of every age an opportunity to enjoy our special speakers and fellowship over an excellent brunch.

Other evening events such as dessert evenings and movie nights are held as need and time allow.

The aim of Hillside Women’s Ministry is to meet the practical and spiritual needs of our women in relevant ways and reach out to our neighbourhood and community.
